Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start timing my contractions?

To start timing contractions, simply tap the "Start Timing" button when you feel a contraction beginning. The app will automatically record the start time. When the contraction ends, tap the "Contraction Ended" button. The app will calculate the duration and time between contractions.

Can I save and review my contraction history?

Yes! All your contraction data is automatically saved in the app. You can review your history in the "History" tab, where you'll see a timeline of your contractions, including duration and frequency patterns. This data can help you and your healthcare provider understand your labor progress.

How accurate is the contraction timer?

Our contraction timer is designed to be highly accurate when used correctly. The accuracy depends on you pressing the buttons at the precise start and end of each contraction. For best results, press the button as soon as you feel the contraction beginning and again when it completely subsides.

Can I share my contraction data with my doctor?

Absolutely! You can export your contraction history as a PDF report or CSV file to share with your healthcare provider. Go to the "History" section, select the time period you want to share, and tap the "Export" button. You can then email the report or save it to your device.

The app crashed during use. Did I lose my data?

Our app automatically saves your data every few seconds, so even if the app crashes, you're unlikely to lose more than the last few seconds of timing. When you reopen the app, it should recover your session. If you're experiencing frequent crashes, please contact our support team for assistance.
